Itinerary information
Day 01 – Arrival in Sri Lanka | Airport to Negombo
Upon arrival at Sri Lanka’s International Airport, meet your personal chauffeur-guide who will escort you in an air-conditioned vehicle to Negombo (a short 20-minute journey). Check in to your hotel and unwind after your flight. Enjoy the vibrant coastal charm of Negombo with its sandy beaches, fishing villages, and colorful boats.
Day 02 – Negombo to Habarana
After breakfast depart to the hub of the cultural triangle, the town of Habarana. You can either spend the afternoon relaxing or embark on an exciting safari at Minneriya National Park.
Day 03 – Sigiriya & Minneriya Safari
Start your day with a climb to the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient frescoes and panoramic views.
In the afternoon, venture into Minneriya National Park on a jeep safari. Witness the world-renowned elephant gatherings, along with leopards, sambar deer, monkeys, and an incredible diversity of birdlife amidst scenic landscapes of ancient ruins and lush greenery. Overnight stay in Habarana.
Day 04 – Habarana to Kandy
After breakfast, drive to Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka. Explore the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses one of Buddhism’s most revered relics. Stroll through Kandy’s charming streets lined with grand Edwardian buildings, vibrant markets, and serene lakeside paths. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 05 – Scenic Train Journey from Nanuoya to Ella
Today you’ll embark on one of the world’s most beautiful train rides, from Nanuoya to Ella. Marvel at rolling tea plantations, misty mountains, waterfalls, and quaint villages along the way. Arrive in Ella, a hill-country paradise, and check in to your hotel.
Day 06 – Ella City Tour
Explore Ella’s stunning natural attractions and relaxed vibe:

Day 08 – Morning Safari in Yala National Park
Set off at dawn for an exhilarating Yala safari. This is Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife destination, covering over 97,000 acres of scrublands, forests, wetlands, and beaches.

Day 10 – Hikkaduwa to Airport | Departure
